Repayment Terms: 15 years, payments begin six months after graduation
Other Information: If you have a cosigner (which is encouraged by U.S.Bank), they can be released after you make 36 on-time, consecutive payments. You also must have an acceptable credit score to qualify for cosigner release. If you don’t qualify after 36 payments, you can apply for cosigner release after 48 payments.
