Entrepreneurship and CPA Scholarships

    Scholarship Name: AICPA/Accountemps Student Scholarship
    Description: The American Institute for Certified Public Accountants is a great resource for scholarship dollars for students of all ages who are pursuing accounting degrees. Students that are majoring in accounting, finance and information systems will find a variety of scholarships, including the AICPA/Accountemps Student Scholarship program. Students must be AICPA affiliate members to qualify for any of the scholarships, but memberships are inexpensive ($35) and offer many resources beyond scholarships. The AICPA offers a number of other scholarships for accountants as well, including a fun scholarship for liberal arts majors who choose to shift gears and pursue accounting post-grad.

    International Franchise Association

    Scholarship Name: Minority Entrepreneurs Scholarship Program
    Description: The International Franchise Association Education Foundation partners with a number of major United States corporations to offer scholarships to students pursuing degrees in business, particularly those interested in entrepreneurship. Through the Minority Entrepreneurs Scholarship Program, minority students are encouraged to enter the business field (in which they are historically under represented). This scholarship is sponsored by Marriott International, and is open to both incoming undergraduate students and adults looking to continue their education through executive programs. The IFA sponsors more than ten scholarships, including opportunities for entrepreneurs, veterans, law students and current high school students. Awards can be applied to tuition, and some can be used as cash awards.
