$1,000 Academic University Scholarship (Deadline: January 1, 2016)

Who Can Apply: Any current, full-time student enrolled in an accredited university or college in the United States, with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0. There is no age requirement for scholarship applicants.

Submission: Eligible students will write an essay of 750 words or more about a design, advertisement, creative work, or form of new media that influenced their perspective on a social issue. Competitive candidates will demonstrate a working knowledge of design and cite at least two pieces of credible content that support their perspective related to the social issue. YouTube or Vimeo submissions are strongly encouraged, although essays must also be submitted in writing (please limit videos to 5 minutes or less). Essays must be submitted in Word or PDF format.
