1902 Leadership Circle Scholarship (Deadline: July 29, 2016)

Who Can Apply: A preference will be given to Franklin graduate or undergraduate students who have made a positive impact on the economic and/or social good for their local community by displaying drive, tenacity, and an entrepreneurial spirit similar to that of the University’s namesake, Benjamin Franklin.

  • Must complete a minimum of 12 credit hours per term for undergraduate or 8 credit hours for graduate, unless the program is scheduled otherwise
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Recommended by a Franklin University faculty member or adjunct
  • Franklin employees are not eligible to apply (excludes Work Study students)


Submission: Submit a 500 to 750 word typed essay answering the question- How have you made a positive impact on the economic and/or social good of your community and represented the essence of Benjamin Franklin?

Deadline: July 29, 2016

Amount: $4,000
