Who Can Apply: UBS/PaineWebber is one of the leading global financial firms that provides a wide range of services to corporations, governments, institutions and affluent individuals. The UBS/PaineWebber Scholarship will be directed to current sophomores or juniors, who demonstrate outstanding academic performance within the various business disciplines at the targeted UNCF Institutions. The selected recipients will be awarded during the 2023-24 Academic Year.
1. Major in one of the following academic disciplines: Accounting, Economics, Finance, Business Administration, International Business, Business Management, Marketing and other Business-related programs.
2. Enroll full time as College Sophomore or College Junior at one of the UNCF member institutions during the current 2023-24 academic year.
3. Complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (“FAFSA”) form and have a demonstrated, unmet financial need as verified by their college or university.
Submission:
- Two essays, (1) on a career aspirations and (2) on a business-related topic.
- Two reference/recommendation letters. One of the references must be familiar with the student’s academic performance.
- Current transcript.
- Updated resume.
