Accident Survivor Scholarship (Deadline: May 30, 2016)

Law School Scholarship:

This scholarship will be awarded to a law student at an accredited law school who either personally was the victim of or has a family member (brother, sister, mother or father) who was the victim of a major accident.

To be eligible, candidates must submit a 1-3 page essay describing the impact that the accident had on them (or their family member), what they have done to overcome the effects (physical and/or financial) of the accident, and how the experience has influenced their desire to become an attorney.

Candidates must have a current GPA of at least a 3.0 or be in the top 33% of their law school class.

University Scholarship:

This scholarship will be awarded to a student at an accredited university who either personally was the victim of or has a family member (brother, sister, mother or father) who was the victim of a major accident. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen and 18 years or older.

To be eligible, candidates must submit a 1-3 page essay describing  the impact that the accident had on them (or their family member), what they have done to overcome the effects (physical and/or financial) of the accident, and what they believe could or should be done to prevent a similar accident from occurring again in the future.

Candidates must be full-time students and have a current GPA of at least a 3.0.

Submission:

  1. A completed application (which can be found on our website),
  2. Their personal essay (described above), and
  3. A certified copy of their current transcript confirming that they meet the eligibility requirements listed above.

Deadline: May 30, 2016

Amount: $1,000
