American Association of University Women Scholarship for Undergraduates (Deadline: February 14, 2019)

Who Can Apply: A scholarship which is renewable for four years for an Incoming Freshman, who is the first in their immediate family to attend college. The American Association of University Women (AAUW) was founded in 1881. Members have examined the fundamental issues of the day—educational, social, economic and political—and taken courageous positions, often far ahead of popular opinion. Each year the AAUW provides money for scholarships, generated from the local AAUW book sale in October.

  • Must be first person in immediate family to attend college (immediate family includes parents, step-parents, siblings or step-siblings)
  • Must reside in the greater Middletown Area
  • Incoming Freshman
  • Must be attending college or university
  • Applicant will be required to fill out financial information and upload FAFSA
  • Applicant will be required to upload ACT or SAT report
  • Double check first in family status

Deadline: February 14, 2019

Amount: $4,000
