- Linda Wallingsford Holmstrom was a beloved mother and a CPA who excelled both at her job and in her family responsibilities.
- Linda was remarkably detailed and organized, and she spent a lot of her income on education, both for herself and for others in her family. She supported her two children and three grandchildren with undergraduate and graduate tuition to ensure they could achieve all of their dreams.
- Linda became a CPA in 1975, which made her one of the earliest female CPAs in Arkansas. When she went to her first accounting class, it was all men except for her, and they asked if she was in the wrong class, but that didn’t intimidate her. She went on to graduate cum laude from Henderson State University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas and subsequently passed the CPA exam on her first try.
