Who Can Apply: The Fund provides scholarships to assist graduating Louisiana high school students who will enroll full-time in an accredited college or university. Scholarship awards shall be used toward the following, in order of priority: tuition and fees; books and supplies; room and board; and commuting expenses up to fifty dollars a month. Students must have a minimum ACT score of 25, a minimum GPA of 3.5 and have taken honors and/or advanced placement courses.
Submission: In addition to submitting the Common Application, applicants must submit the following:
- Transcript
- ACT/SAT
- Academic resume
- Personal statement or essay
- Letter of recommendation from school’s principal and/or guidance counselor.
