The Association for Women in Communications, Springfield Chapter, Communications Scholarship Fund (Deadline: March 1, 2017)

Who Can Apply: Scholarship for students majoring in communications, journalism, public relations or related fields such as marketing, design, videography, photography, etc., that are from central Illinois or attend a College or University in Central Illinois.

1 – Open to college Juniors, Seniors or graduate students as of Fall 2016 registration.
2 – Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
3 – Demonstrate a commitment to a professional career in communications through educational work.
4 – Demonstrate service to the communications field through extracurricular or job activities.

Submission:

1 – Submit two references and their contact information. One of which is from an instructor of a communications-related course that the applicant is currently enrolled in or has completed.
2 – Submit an essay not to exceed 500 words
3 – Submit at least 3 work examples/links to work examples.
4 – Submit an official college transcript.

Deadline: March 1, 2017
