- Aurora used food as her love language to show her family how much she cared about them, recognizing that food could be a form of expression and a way to make the world a better place. She was extremely proud of her Filipino Heritage. By teaching her children how to cook authentic Filipino dishes, she knew this part of her history would continue on.
- This scholarship aims to honor the life of Aurora Yanto Poblete by supporting female students pursuing careers in the culinary arts.
- Any female high school senior or undergraduate student who is studying culinary arts may apply for this scholarship.
