Who Can Apply: Applicants to the Axalta Bright Futures Scholarship Program must:

- Be current college undergraduate sophomores, juniors, seniors*, or graduate level students planning to enroll in full-time undergraduate or graduate study at one of the eligible schools** in the United States for the upcoming academic year, pursuing a bachelor’s, master’s or doctoral degree in one of the following fields:
- Color Science
- Chemistry or related program
- Chemical Engineering or related program
- Supply Chain Management or related program
- Be current college undergraduate sophomores, juniors, seniors*, or graduate level students planning to enroll in full-time undergraduate or graduate study at one of the eligible schools** in the United States for the upcoming academic year, pursuing a bachelor’s, master’s or doctoral degree in one of the following fields:
OR
- Be high school seniors or students planning to enroll in full-time study at one of the eligible schools** in the United States for the entire upcoming academic year, pursuing vocational-technical studies in one of the following fields:
- Studies related to manufacturing, operations, safety, environmental and other manufacturing-related degrees
- Auto body painting/repair
*Current undergraduate seniors must be planning to attend graduate school the upcoming academic year.
**Eligible schools:
- Philadelphia, PA area – University of Pennsylvania, Pennsylvania State University (all campuses), Cheyney University, Drexel University, Temple University, University of Delaware, Villanova University
- Detroit, Ml area – University of Michigan, Michigan State University, Wayne State University
- Houston, TX area -Texas A&M University, Universal Technical Institute, University of Houston
- Front Royal, VA area -Virginia Tech, Lord Fairfax Community College, Hampton University, University of Virginia
- Rochester, New York area – Rochester Institute of Technology
Submission:
- A current, complete transcript of grades. Grade reports are not accepted. Transcripts must display student name, school name, grades and credit hours for each course and term in which each course was taken.
- A copy of your most recently filed 1040.
