Who Can Apply: Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited college, university, or law school in the United States for the Spring 2018 semester. This includes high school seniors, freshman, sophomores, juniors, college seniors, and law students (L1, L2, L3).
Submission: To participate in the contest, applicants should write a 600-word essay answering the following question:
“Our life expectancy is constantly growing thanks to advances in science and medicine. While life insurance is a wise decision, many individuals let their policy lapse, for a myriad of reasons. Others sell their life insurance policies on the secondary market through life settlements or viatical settlements. What are some new ways we encourage those with life insurance (typically aging adults) to keep their policies active and avoid lapse?”
