- Qualified applicants should be either a graduating high school senior or have graduated from high school within the past two years. An exception to the two-year requirement will be made for military or religious service.
- Applicants should be enrolled in a 4-year college-level program.
- Graduate programs and undergraduate part-time programs do not qualify.
- Priority is given to students who plan a professional career in the automotive aftermarket, in categories such as engineering or business.
