CalCPA San Diego Chapter Scholarship (Deadline: July 20, 2018)

Who Can Apply: 

• CalCPA student or candidate member (Visit calcpa.org/join to become a member)
• Full-time or part-time undergraduate, graduate/masters student attending a university, college or community college within the geographical boundaries of the San Diego Chapter with a graduation date of December 2018 or later
• Enrolled in at least nine quarter units or six semester units (Community college students must transfer to a four-year institution within the geographical boundaries of the San Diego Chapter.)
• Current enrollment or completion of Managerial Accounting
• Grade point average of 3.0 or higher
• U.S. citizen or legal resident of the United States


1) Two letters of recommendation (one from a professor/instructor and one from a supervisor/employer)
2) One page personal statement (less than 500 words noting your educational and career goals and including any CalCPA involvement or participation in organizations that shows a commitment to the accounting profession)
3) Unofficial transcript of all classes (Scholarship winners must supply official transcripts prior to receiving a check.)
4) Resume (includes internships/work experience/extracurricular activities/honors/awards)
5) List of all financial resources that fund your education (financial aid/parents or family members/loans/employment)
