Cell it Forward Scholarship (Deadline: August 31, 2016)

Who Can Apply: All full-time students who are currently enrolled in any accredited U.S. College or University with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher. This includes students in both Alaska and Hawaii. There is no age limitation on applications.


  • Write an essay of up to 1000 words OR do a video review of up to 5 minutes aboutyour current cell phone, smartphone or tablet. Competitive candidates will describe and demonstrate knowledge of their phone’s strengths and weaknesses. They should also show that they have a good understanding of how their specific phone or tablet fits into the overall market in comparison to competitors in regards to functionality and technology.
  • All content in the essay applications much be original. Any submissions that include plagiarised content will immediately disqualify the applicant.
  • Publish your essay either in Word format and send it as an attachment to [email protected], or anywhere on the Internet, i.e. your personal blog, YouTube, or any other online publishing platform. A link to www.soldmydevice.com should be included with all application essays posted online.
  • Video submissions are encouraged, although not required. Any video applications should be 5 minutes or less.
