Charles County Arts Alliance Scholarship (Deadline: March 4, 2016)

Who Can Apply: Each year the Charles County Arts Alliance offers a $1,000.00 scholarships to one outstanding graduating senior from each high school who plans to continue studying the arts (performing, visual or literary) at a four year college or university.

  • has a 3.0 or above grade point average
  • is a graduating senior from a Charles County Public High School
  • has been accepted to continue at a four year college or university in an arts program in the subsequent fall semester


  • a completed CCAA Scholarship Application Form by the deadline
  • a typed detailed resume listing the student’s artistic activities, extracurricular activities, work, and/or
    community service activities with supporting documentation
  • a typed essay stating the name of the college/university the student plans to attend, identifying the arts major
    to be pursued, and explaining how the CCAA Scholarship will support the student’s future plans
  • a typed letter of recommendation from a teacher, faculty member, guidance counselor or advisor who is
    familiar with the student’s academic and artistic talents an official transcript of student’s grades, verifying a 3.0 or above Grade Point Average.
