Child Welfare and Development (CWD) Scholarship for Students Pursuing a Degree in Social Work 2018-2019 (Deadline: January 31, 2019)

Who Can Apply: 

  1. Currently enrolled in good standing in an accredited sociology, psychology or social sciences undergraduate program in the United States
  2. Current overall GPA of 3.0 or higher
  3. Demonstrated history of working with or on-behalf of children who have experienced neglect or abuse (through advocacy, community involvement, volunteerism or research efforts)
  4. Demonstrated financial need

Submission: To apply, please submit the following:

  1. First and Last name
  2. Email address
  3. Phone number
  4. Current college or university you attend
  5. Current GPA
  6. Expected graduation date
  7. Current course of study

Also, applicants must submit a 1-2 page essay that explains:

  1. Why you’ve chosen to pursue a career in social work and child welfare
  2. What your specific extracurricular experience is working with or on the behalf of at-risk or traumatized children
  3. How you intend to use this award
