Chuck Peacock Memorial Scholarship (Deadline: April 1, 2018)

Who Can Apply: Given by Wanda Peacock in memory of her late husband, Chuck Peacock. As the founder of the Aircraft Electronics Association, Peacock credited his aviation and business management skills as the cornerstones for his success in the industry. This scholarship is offered to recognize the importance of management skills and is available to a high school senior or college student who plans to attend or is attending an accredited school in an aviation management program.

Submission: Please write a 300-word essay on the following topic: What are FAA’s “NextGen” technologies and how will they change aircraft maintenance and the skills and the knowledge required of tomorrow’s technicians?
