Who Can Apply:

  • Must be enrolled in a college, university, or graduate school during the 2017-2018 academic year
  • Must be in good academic standing with his/her current educational institution
  • Must have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA
  • Must have permission from his/her parent or legal guardian if under 18
  • Must apply for the scholarship via email and provide all of the following: 1) full name, 2) address, 3) name of academic institution attending, 4) PDF copy of applicant’s unofficial transcript, and 5) PDF copy of applicant’s essay

Submission: All applicants must submit a 2,000-word essay responding to the following prompt:

“The Annual Academic Leader Award is reserved for students who show tremendous promise in the area of leadership and community. Please define and outline the most important components of a true leader, how you embody them, and how you plan to give back to society once you graduate.”

Deadline: February 6, 2017

Amount: $1,000
