- Coach Richard (Doc) Ryan was a beloved father, coach, and mentor who dedicated his life to shaping and inspiring the next generation.
- Doc was a coach and teacher at Terrell High School from 1982 until 2024. He was inducted into the Terrell High School Hall of Fame and coached every male athlete that is in the same hall of fame. He left behind an incredible legacy and was a crucial part of Terrell’s athletic fabric.
- This scholarship aims to honor the memory of Coach Doc Ryan by supporting students who share his passion for athletics.
- Any high school student at Terrell High School in Texas may apply for this scholarship opportunity if they’re a student-athlete.
