Community Scholarship for Excellence (Deadline: March 5, 2019)

Who Can Apply: The criteria for the Community Scholarship for Excellence will be based upon merit only. Merit will be based upon the individual’s scholastic achievement, extra-curricular activities, and community involvement and leadership during high school. This scholarship is extremely competitive and applicants should have a cumulative G.P.A. of 4.0 or higher.

  • An eligible student must be a graduating senior from Virginia State-Approved schools (public and private) in Staunton, Augusta County, and Waynesboro.
  • An eligible student must demonstrate leadership, scholastic achievement, and strong participation in school and community activities.
  •  An eligible student must be a candidate for high school graduation at the end of the current academic year and plan to enroll at an accredited two-year or four-year college or university in the Continental United States the following academic year.
