Crotty Saland Equal Justice Scholarship (Deadline: January 31, 2018)

Who Can Apply: The Crotty Saland Equal Justice Scholarship is open to those presently enrolled in a duly accredited junior college, community college, undergraduate or graduate institution located within the United States. Also, eligible for consideration are GED holders and high school graduates whose college-level studies are just about to begin.


  • An up-to-date resume, current contact information and a clear statement of present educational program level and student status
  • Latest academic transcript issued by the applicant’s present institution (unofficial versions will be accepted); freshman-level students may submit unofficial transcripts from their most recent institution together with any documentation available from their current school
  • A 750-word original essay that explains how the student intends to champion the cause of equal access to justice for all, with a specific focus on low-income and underrepresented individuals
