Dolores Bush Scuderi and Richard J. Scuderi Scholarship (Deadline: May 8, 2015)

Who Can Apply:

  • Must be a first-generation college student of Polish descent (first recipient preference)
  • Must be a college student of Polish descent (second recipient preference)
  • Must be enrolled or planning to enroll as a half-time or full-time undergraduate or graduate student at any Penn State campus
  • Must have achieved a superior academic record
  • Must demonstrate financial need, as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
  • Must be in good standing, as determined by the Office of Judicial affairs

Submission: To be considered, students must submit a letter that includes all of the following:

  • Student’s name
  • Student’s Penn State ID number
  • A one-page essay that traces and verifies student Polish descent, signed by student and by one other family member
  • Copies of official documents that verify student Polish descent, such as naturalization papers, etc., if possible

Deadline: May 8, 2015
