Dr. Anson L. Clark Scholarship Fund (Deadline: April 15, 2015)

Who Can Apply: Four-year scholarships awarded to students who are graduating seniors from a Dallas Independent School District high school with a minimum 3.2 GPA, 1650 SAT or higher or 24 ACT or higher and are attending an accredited college or university in the State of Texas. Selection is based on academic achievement, SAT or ACT scores, school and civic activities and financial need.

Submission: Supplemental Questions –

  1. Are you graduating from a high school in Dallas Independent School District?
  2. Describe the most challenging and/or satisfying extracurricular or volunteer activity in which you have participated as a high school or college student. What did you gain from your involvement? (At least 500 words)
  3. Describe the goals you hope to achieve by pursuing and obtaining a college degree. What do you plan to study in college? What career(s) are you considering? (Up to 500 words)

Deadline: April 15, 2015

Amount: Up to $12,000 total per student
