Who Can Apply:
- Graduating senior of E. E. Smith High School
- a full time student who will attend a four-year college/university in North Carolina within six (6) months of receiving award
- Will also consider academic performance, special hardship circumstances in family, community activities, educational/careers goals and plans for attaining them, applicant appraisal by others, and applicant’s knowledge and fostering of the E.E. Smith Family concept.
Submission: Respond to the following questions in a short essay: What do you know about Mr. E. E. Miller and for what did he stand? In what way has your experience at E.E. Smith High School made a positive impact on your life? How have you helped to foster the E.E. Smith family concept? Describe your plans for reaching your educational and career goals.
