ECLAT Foundation Scholarship (Deadline: April 30, 2015)

Who Can Apply: The ECLAT Foundation Scholarship is a one-year $2,000 scholarship for current graduating seniors residing in Collin, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Hunt, Kaufman, Johnson, Parker, Rockwall, Tarrant or Wise Counties, or past graduates currently residing in one of those Counties that intend to pursue a baccalaureate degree at an accredited college or university* in the State of Texas*.

Selection criteria includes academic excellence, school and community participation and demonstrated leadership potential, with a focus on financial need. Applicants must have a cumulative high school GPA of 3.5 or a college GPA of 3.0, plus a minimum SAT score of 1300 or ACT score of 18. Two letters of recommendation are required and final candidates will be interviewed.

Submission: Describe in 500-1000 words what you hope to create for your future and, if applicable, the future of your Texas community through your pursuit and attainment of a baccalaureate degree.
