Eligible to Learn Scholarship (Deadline: December 31, 2017)

Who Can Apply:

  • Permanent U.S. Resident
  • Enrolled or planning to enroll in an accredited higher education program by the spring semester of 2018
  • Have a physical disability as defined under the American’s with Disabilities Act (ADA)

Submission: The essay should fully answer the question: “How has your physical disability positively affected the pursuit of your academic or professional goals?”

A panel of judges will review the applications. Essays will be judged on the following criteria:

  • Submissions must be 500 – 1000 words
  • Applicants must follow the essay prompt
  • Applicants should discuss no less than 1 and no more than 3 personal/professional goal(s)

Deadline: December 31, 2017

Amount: $1,250
