Who Can Apply: Established by the State University of New York in conjunction with SUNY Cortland Foundation. Award will be split evenly between the fall and spring semesters. Funding is based on availability.
- awarded to a matriculated entering freshman level student in good academic standing at SUNY Cortland
- has a minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average
- demonstrate that they will contribute to the diversity of the student body
- enrolled in at least 6-12 credit hours each fall and spring semester
- student must have at least one full academic year remaining at the start of the fall semester of award year
- recipients must be U.S. citizens or permanent resident aliens
- recipients must be New York State residents, who will make a contribution to the diversity of the student body in their program
