Father of the Year Scholarship and Sylvan Landau Scholarship (Deadline: April 15, 2015)

Who Can Apply: These scholarships are awarded to students in financial need who have achieved an average degree of academic excellence. The Sylvan Landau scholarship gives preference to students intending to study Business or Marketing, while the Father of the Year Scholarship is open to all majors. Selection is based on school and community participation, demonstrated leadership potential, and financial need. This scholarship may be used at any accredited college or university in the United States.

Submission: Please include an essay of no more than 700 words addressing one or more of the following: 1) Who is your role model and what impact has he/she made in your life? 2) Why is a college degree important to you? 3) How would this scholarship award impact your life?

Deadline: April 15, 2015

Amount: Up to $5,000 total per student
