Award Is Open To: Undergrads who have completed their freshman year at an accredited NH School.

Scholarships for Orphans of Veterans

Majors/Fields of Study: All Majors
Residency: New Hampshire
Student Attends School In: New Hampshire
Other Comments: Scholarships are available to the descendants of those who died as a result of service in World War I and II, Korea, and Southeast Asia. Applicants must be New Hampshire residents and their ancestors must have been residents at the time of death. Tuition and fees are paid at any institution of higher education in the state. The scholarship can be renewed as long as the recipient is 25 or younger.

Veterinary Grant Program

Amount: $12,000 a year;
Awards per Year: Varies;
The Award Is: Based on academic merit and financial need.
Who Is Eligible?
Award Is Open To: Vet School Students
Majors/Fields of Study: Veterinary Science
Residency: New Hampshire
Other Comments: Offers financial assistance to NH residents pursuing a veterinary science degree. Those who wish to attend Tufts University will be based on need and those who wish to attend Cornell will be based on merit.
