FIU Stempel Scholarship (Deadline: March 15, 2016)

Who Can Apply: The Ernest Stempel Foundation provides support to selected charities and organizations that focus on education, the environment, medical research and the disadvantaged. The Robert Stempel College of Public Health and Social Work (RSCPHSW) is honored to receive a grant to be used specifically for student scholarships and financial aid within the RSCPHSW.

The scholarship funds will be used to recruit and retain top quality graduate students in the Public Health Programs. The monies will be used to support 1 MPH student annually. The student will be selected based on specific criteria and continuation of support will be determined based on student’s academic progress following each semester. The student must remain in good standing (GPA 3.5 and above), and maintain a full time status throughout the term of the scholarship or the monies would be automatically revoked.

Submission: In not more than 1000 words please describe what sparked your interest in a public health career and how the Stempel Scholarship funds will help to achieve your goals.
