Who Can Apply: PFLAG Sacramento awards $1,000 scholarships each spring. Known as the Follansbee-Hansen Scholarship (named for PFLAG Sacramento chapter founders The Rev. and Mrs. Merrill Follansbee and Jean Hansen), this scholarship is awarded to select college freshmen and graduating high school seniors from the Sacramento area who will be attending college in the fall. In addition, applicants must identify as LGBTQI.
