Foreclosure.com Scholarship (Deadline: December 15, 2015)

Who Can Apply: Foreclosure.com is breaking new ground by offering a scholarship program. Currently enrolled college students (graduate students, law students and/or high school seniors are NOT eligible) are invited to apply by submitting an essay. Freshman entering Fall 2015 are eligible once they have received a student ID number.

Submission: 800-2000 words essay:

“Several years ago, the real estate and mortgage meltdown had a crushing impact on the United States economy that also negatively affected countless families nationwide. Today, the situation has significantly improved, with ‘boomerang buyers’ recovering and getting back into the market. Looking back, what lessons did we learn from the collapse, what is/are the silver lining(s) and how are real estate buyers today benefiting from those past mistakes?”

Deadline: December 15, 2015

Amount: $1,000-$5,000
