Fran Kay Schwaiger Scholarship (Deadline: March 1, 2019)

Who Can Apply: Established for the benefit of graduating seniors of any public or private high school in Cullman County. One $4,000 scholarship plus approved renewals in the amount of $2,000 will be awarded annually. Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA, demonstrate financial need (include copy of FAFSA), plan to attend an accredited four-year college or university, intend to pursue a course of study in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics, and submit an essay to the following prompt, “Please describe your interest in pursuing a career in science, technology, engineering or mathematics,” and two letters of recommendation, at least one required from a teacher.

Submission: High School Transcript, Essay, References, and FAFSA.

Deadline: March 1, 2019
