Who Can Apply: The Francisco Toro Ramirez Sr. Scholarship looks to support a high school student who is interested in their Puerto Rican traditions and wants to keep those traditions alive. These traditions may vary, from Christmas celebrations to plena dance to family recipes for foods such as pasteles, coquito pernil, and more.
Submission: High school seniors who wish to pass down their Puerto Rican traditions to future generations are encouraged to apply, making a 1-2 minute video about why you care about your family’s traditions and how you plan to continue them in the future.
