Who Can Apply: The Gail Ingram Scholarship was established at the North Georgia Community Foundation in 2010 by family, friends, and students of Gail Ingram to honor her 40 years in education. As a teacher, debate and speech coach, and world travel leader, Gail has made a lasting impact on countless individuals. As a high school valedictorian, college Magna Cum Laude, six-time Star Teacher, Georgia Forensics Coach of the Year, member of the Georgia Debate Coaches Hall of Fame, and a National Forensics League Triple-Diamond Coach, Gail Ingram always went well beyond the classroom. Her love of travel led her to expand her students’ appreciation and understanding of literature with more than 30 trips to more than 10 countries, where they learned the life and history behind the literature.
