George A. Decker Memorial Scholarship (Deadline: April 15, 2015)

Who Can Apply: The George A. Decker Memorial Scholarship is open to students graduating from Festus High School in Jefferson County or Hancock Place High School in St. Louis County who are seeking a post-secondary education on a full-time or part-time basis at a regionally accredited college or university, or a certified trade school or technical school, that confers Associate of Applied Science, Associate or baccalaureate degrees within the State of Missouri. Recipients may reapply for scholarship consideration for a maximum of four years of funding provided they continue to meet eligibility requirements.

Submission: Applications will be evaluated on the basis of how closely the essay and recommendations demonstrate the applicant’s personal record of hard work, diligence, persistence, and ambition to succeed.

Deadline: April 15, 2015

Amount: $1,000
