George A. Decker Memorial Scholarship (Deadline: April 15, 2018)

Who Can Apply: The George A. Decker Memorial Scholarship is open to students graduating from Festus High School in Jefferson County or Hancock Place High School in St. Louis County who are seeking a post-secondary education on a full-time or part-time basis at a regionally accredited college or university, or a certified trade school or technical school, that confers Associate of Applied Science, Associate or baccalaureate degrees within the State of Missouri.

Recipients may reapply for scholarship consideration for a maximum of four years of funding provided they continue to meet eligibility requirements. Preference will be given to previously awarded students who continue to make satisfactory progress towards degree completion, for the duration of the eligible program in which the recipient enrolls full time.

Submission: Write an essay that that provides us with an understanding of how you have demonstrated an exemplary record of hard work, diligence, persistence, and ambition to succeed.

Deadline: April 15, 2018

Amount: $1,000
