Giving Generations AVID Graduate with Distinction Scholarship (Deadline: December 10, 2015)

Who Can Apply:

– Will graduate from a high school in the Cherry Creek School District in the spring of 2016
– Have successfully completed at least two years in the Advancement via Individual Determination (AVID) program and be currently participating in the program as a senior and on track to complete the year (at least one of the two completed years must be at the high school level and the other year may be a middle school year or an additional high school year)
– Have an unweighted cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher at the time the application is submitted
– Have participated in at least two extra-curricular activities during high school
– Planning to enroll full-time at an accredited U.S. four-year college or university in the fall of 2016
– Be a U.S. citizen or permanent legal resident

Deadline: December 10, 2015

Amount: $5,000
