Who Can Apply:
- Despite recent increases in college diversity, many Hispanic students are still left without access to higher education.
- 57% of Hispanic children grow up in poor or near-poor homes, leading to a lack of the financial resources necessary to pursue college. With college costs growing, it’s difficult or impossible for low-income students to afford their education without taking out crippling student debt.
- This scholarship seeks to support underserved Hispanic students in Texas so they can have the resources they need to pursue higher education.
- Any Hispanic first-generation and/or low-income high school junior or senior in Texas may apply for this scholarship.
