Grainger Tools For Tomorrow Scholarship (Deadline: October 19, 2015)

Who Can Apply: All scholarship applicants must be enrolled in the final year of an accredited program for one of the following:

  1. Criminal Justice (AAS only)
  2. EMT
  3. AEMT
  4. Mechatronics
  5. Paramedic
  • Preference will be given to military veterans
  • Applicant must provide a list of clubs, activities, accomplishments, leadership roles held and years involved, including those related to their field of study.
  • Applicant must provide a essay of 200-300 words on why the choice was made for your selected program of study, how your achievements and/or leadership roles have helped you grow individually and your future goals within your chosen career path.
  • Applicant must provide one letter of recommendation from a professor, teacher, or advisor (must be uploaded to this application)
  • Applicant must be a full time student enrolled in one of the programs listed above and graduating in Spring 2016.
  • Applicant must have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA.
  • Applicant must be a US citizen or submit proof of full-time US residency.
  • Applications for spring 2016 will be accepted through October 19, 2015.
  • Applicants who do not meet all of the requirements will not be considered.

Submission:

  1. List clubs, activities, accomplishments, leadership roles held and years involved, including those related to their field of study.
  2. Submit an essay of 200-300 words on why you chose to study your selected program, how your achievements and/or leadership roles have helped you grow individually and your future goals within your chosen career.
  3. Provide a letter of recommendation from a professor, teacher, or advisor.
