Who Can Apply:
- In 2018, more than 63% of foreign-born adults were employed compared to about 60% of native adults, among them brilliant thinkers, inventors, innovators, and incredibly hard-working individuals. Despite this, immigrants are often targeted or stigmatized, creating a divide between those born abroad and those born in the country.
- As an immigrant and refugee, I believe that helping those who come to the United States in search of a better life and prosperity is important. These people are the future of our country and are often in positions where they cannot afford to pay for their tuition outright.
- To contribute to a better future for immigrant students, the Hasanovic American Dream Scholarship will support immigrant students that have a passion for learning and want to create a better life for themselves, their future families, and contribute positively to our society.
- This scholarship is open to all first and second-generation immigrant students in any field of study.
