Jay A. Graybeal Scholarship (Deadline: April 15, 2020)

Who Can Apply: The purpose of this Fund is to honor the many contributions made by Jay Graybeal to the Historical Society and larger Carroll County community. The Fund will provide scholarships to college-bound high-school students, students currently enrolled in undergraduate studies, or pursuing post-graduate studies in general history or a specialty area of studies to include (but not limited to) museums, archival, library, historic preservation, material culture, American Studies, archaeology, anthropology, art, architectural history, or preservation technology. It could also be awarded to students pursuing a recognized certification or apprentice program dedicated to traditional arts, industries, trades, or crafts.
