Who Can Apply: The John Heller Memorial Scholarship, was created in honor of a member of the Art Faculty from 1968-2001, who was an artist in ceramics and metals. Typically two substantial scholarships are available with preference given to an art major in the Crafts Concentration. Likely applicants are those who have achieved at least second semester sophomore status and who have evidence of cohesive and comprehensive portfolio. Graduate students may also apply. Award Recipients will be announced in April at the Annual Student Art exhibition.
Submission: You must submit a portfolio. A portfolio must be limited to 6-12 examples of your artwork in digital form. A maximum of 2 views of 3D work. Those in the Art History concentration may submit this or at least two examples of your art history writing, totaling no less than 15 pages (each upload is limited to 10 MB in size). Note: A majority of this art work must be completed at BSU, please note BSU course or internship supervisor in file upload name.
