Who Can Apply:
- Applicant must be a graduate student with a minimum 3.0 GPA majoring in psychology or counseling psychology who has the intent of becoming a licensed professional counselor or licensed drug and alcohol counselor.
- This is a one-year scholarship reserved for Cherokee Nation citizens attending Northeastern State University, Oklahoma State University or the University of Oklahoma.
- If enrolled at the University of Oklahoma, student has the opportunity to serve as an intern at the Oklahoma Association for Problem and Compulsive Gambling (OAPCG) office in Norman. OAPCG will pay for the certification of Problem Gambling Counselor.
