Who Can Apply:
- Applicant must be a graduate student with a minimum 3.0 GPA majoring in psychology or counseling psychology who has the intent of becoming a licensed professional counselor or licensed drug and alcohol counselor.
- This is a one-year scholarship reserved for Cherokee Nation citizens attending Northeastern State University, Oklahoma State University or the University of Oklahoma.
- If enrolled at the University of Oklahoma, student has the opportunity to serve as an intern at the Oklahoma Association for Problem and Compulsive Gambling (OAPCG) office in Norman.
- OAPCG will pay for the certification of Problem Gambling Counselor.
