Who Can Apply: Scholarships awarded to an outstanding female student at a public or private 2-year or 4-year accredited institution in Collin, Grayson, Dallas, or Tarrant Counties in Texas, who has an interest in pursuing a career in Hospitality and Food Service Management, Hotel Restaurant Management, Pastry Arts, Culinary Arts, Nutrition Sciences, Oenology (science and study of wine), Viticulture (agriculture of vine growing and grape harvesting), Agronomy, Food Science or other related fields of study as approved by Les Dames d’Escoffier. Must have at least 12 hours of relevant coursework, and at least a 3.5 GPA in Major. Must be a resident of Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma or New Mexico.
Submission: Please include an essay explaining why you are interested in the culinary field, your career goals and where you hope to be in 5-10 years.
