Letitia B. Carter Scholarship (Deadline: April 15, 2015)

Who Can Apply:

• Maryland resident
• High school senior or college student
• High school, college or corporate instructor
• Hospitality industry professional
• Must be pursuing hospitality related coursework
• Interviews may be required of finalists
• A minimum cumulative unweighted grade point average of 3.0 (High School and College Students Only)
• A minimum of 400 hours documented industry experience  (High School and College Students Only)
• A minimum of 1500 hours documented industry experience (Instructors, Teachers and Industry Applicants only)

Submission: All essays are to be typed and a have minimum of 250 words: “Describe any personal skills and characteristics that will help you meet the future challenges of the foodservice/hospitality industry.”

Deadline: April 15, 2015

Amount: $500 – $2,000
