- Lulu was a beloved mother who instilled a myriad of positive lessons and values in her son, LB199X.
- Lulu always encouraged LB to chase his dreams, be good to other people, and give back to his community. Lulu helped LB become a great artist with Guin Records who embodies the spirit of storytelling in music and uses his art as a vehicle to positively impact culture and society.
- This scholarship seeks to honor the impact of Lulu by supporting aspiring artists pursuing their dreams in the music industry.
- Any high school senior in the greater DMV (D.C., Maryland, Virginia) area who is pursuing a degree related to music, the music industry, the music business, the entertainment industry, or an adjacent field may apply for this scholarship, but students of color are preferred.
Submission: To apply, submit an essay OR video about a woman in your life who has inspired you to pursue your dreams.
